Nike Debuts Hyper Elite Uniforms for 12 NCAA Teams

It seems like the perks of playing for a Nike/Jordan Brand sponsored university are seemingly endless. Exclusive gear, customized sneakers, and a host of other awesome rarities are regularly gifted to schools like Oregon, North Carolina, and Duke. Nike has continued to up the ante, this time creating new road jerseys for twelve select schools.

The Hyper Elite Road Jersey and shorts are made up of at least 96% recycled polyester, taking a whole new approach to sustainably. The jerseys are plastered with a logo inspired by each team's home court, to provide a "home away from home" feel. They also feature 3D-structured Dri-FIT material, a slimmer cut to reduce bulk, Aerographics construction for extra airflow, and lightweight, heat-transferred logos.

Gonzaga will be the first team to debut the Hyper Elite Jersey, pictured above, on January 19. The remaining debuts and teams featured are as follows: , Baylor Lady Bears on January 30, Villanova Wildcats on January 30, Southern California Trojans on January 30, Ohio State Buckeyes on February 5, North Carolina Tar Heels on February 9, Kentucky Wildcats on February 16, Stanford Cardinal (Women) on February 15, Georgetown Hoyas on February 15, Duke Blue Devils on February 16, Texas Longhorns on February 16 and Connecticut Huskies (Women) on March 4.

The jerseys ($120), shorts ($80), and a hoodie ($75) will be available from Nike Store.
