No. 5 – Trust the Product

Court Grip does work. It’s easy to be skeptical of something that seems too simple to be true, but apply it and give a go. You’ll be instantly surprised that Mission Court Grip doesn’t weigh you down, doesn’t feel like crazy glue and won’t leave you stuck to the floor.

No. 4 – Read the Instructions Before You Apply It

So you’re at your favorite Saturday morning run and you’ve got next. You’re watching your homies hoop and you’re thinking ‘I’m about to shut somebody DOWN today,’ as you pull the Mission Court Grip out the bag. Then you apply it, and apply it and apply it. Before you know it, you’re standing in a puddle-O-Court Grip, trying not to bust your ass and literally stick to dudes on defense. Read the label which says spread a thin layer over the entire sole & allow a few seconds to completely dry. Trust us, don’t make our mistake and end up with a sludgy mess.

No. 3 – Court Grip Maintains Stability

No product will flat out make you a better player. We’re sorry to ruin your Monday, but it’s just the truth. However, Mission Court Grip will help you with stability. Tend to get crossed up easily? Hit the Court Grip before you play and, well you’ll probably still get crossed up, but you’ll have a better chance at not being the talk of your twitter circle because you caught the fade.

No. 2 – Reapply Court Grip as Play Continues

This is the only offsetting thing about Court Grip, but they do tell you on the label that you have to apply the product routinely. If you’re playing under the whistle a reapplication between quarters or at least halves should work and between games if you’re just playing pick-up.

No. 1 – Brush Off Soles Before You Apply Court Grip

Remember to wipe your soles off before you use it. Most gyms have at least a little bit of dust on their courts and if it gets on your kicks before you put Court Grip on, it’ll create this weird, grey-ish, dirty film that you’ll have to wipe off anyway before using the product properly.  Once again, read the instructions because it says to clean the soles before you apply.
