If you’re one of the many runners who pleaded with Brooks Running via letters, emails, and social media to bring back the Brooks Launch, job well done.

After taking the overwhelming requests of hundreds of individuals into consideration, Brooks has decided to cancel plans to stop producing the apparently popular neutral running sneaker. Brooks’ Global Director of Footwear, Andre Kriwet, had this to say about the recent decision:

“The Launch is a shoe that resonated very well with experienced runners and athletes,” said Kriwet. “Its tailored fit, lightweight feel, and effortless ride are very unique, and after such an outcry of support we knew we had to keep it around for all the fans.  We’ll introduce new colors in 2013 and have started thinking about what the Launch 2 will look like, stay tuned for more to come!”

In addition to the pairs that are already available in stores and online, Brooks will roll out a fresh new inventory of the Launch in Spring 2013.
