The Mississippi State Bulldogs had high hopes going into today’s SEC showdown against Texas A&M, the 16th ranked team in the nation. To get amped for the game, the ‘Dogs even broke out new all-white “Snow Bowl” adidas TECHFIT uniforms inspired by the famous 2000 Independence Bowl game between the two teams. However, it didn’t take long for the Aggies to steal the Mississippi State thunder by winning handedly, 38-13.

Mississippi State’s white out kits weren’t quite as impressive as the Oregon ones we looked at earlier in the week—even the oversized bulldog logo on the helmet looked a bit cheesy. Texas A&M, on the other hand, in their all-black uniforms, looked like they came to play. Today marked the first time since the 1920s that A&M didn’t wear a uniform that wasn’t maroon or white. The Aggies certainly had an edge in this one—in more ways than one.
