It’s been long overdue, but the UCLA Bruins are finally getting an upgraded uniform, much like the rest of college football.

For their Saturday Homecoming game against Pac-12 foe Arizona, UCLA will ditch their traditional powder blue and gold unis for a never-before seen all-navy set. The “LA Night” adidas TECHFIT uniforms draw inspiration from the LA Skyline, with the gold lettering meant to represent the bright lights of the City of Angels. The Bruin blue isn’t completely removed from the new uniforms. Rather than being the dominant color, the powder blue UCLA is so famously known for is incorporated in detailing on the jersey, gloves, and cleats to honor the University’s heritage.
