This just in—rapper Flo Rida is giving up his successful music career for a glamorous life as a designer.

Well, not exactly, but wouldn’t that be a catchy headline. In actuality, we're talking about Flo Rida because he recently showed his alma mater some love by getting a design firm to draw out a new football uniform design in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Carol City Chiefs.  While the futuristic-looking uniforms won’t see the field until 2013, we don’t have to wait ‘til then to dub them as the worst football uniforms in recent memory (look out Atlantic High).

While the tops are passable, the pants are down right unbearable to look at for more than a few seconds. We’re not sure whose idea it was to stamp a larger-than-life Chief logo across the front of the pants, but they probably should have gone with plan "B". The lone bright spot of the new look has to be the helmet, which is clad in bird feathers.

Let’s just hope the Kansas City Chiefs or Washington Redskins don’t decide to go the same route.
