There is always room for improvement.

When Nike released the original LunaRacer back in 2008, it was greeted with approval by most of the running community. However, the shoe still wasn’t suitable for everyone. Some runners complained of overheating issues, and others pointed out the uncomfortable fit thanks to a slim upper. After not making any real chances to the LunaRacer 2, Nike is hoping the latest version of the shoe, the LunaRacer 3, will help address the issues some runners had with it.

The LunaRacer 3 features both an Engineered Mesh upper, along with Dynamic Flywire, for a fit that takes the form of the foot while running, making it far more comfortable than the original shoe. The shoe still comes with a Lunarlon sole for a soft, responsive feel despite weighing .4 ounces less than its predecessors.

Look out for the 3 to hit stores for $110 in January 2013.
