UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva has been with Nike for a while, but never on this level. What started as a regional sponsorship is now taking the global stage as Silva reportedly signed a new deal with Nike, according to his manager Ed Soares. The latest move makes Silva just the second UFC fighter (after Jon Jones) to be endorsed by Nike on such a large scale, showing just how new the Swoosh is to the sport. Though, signing two world champs isn't a bad way to get the ball rolling. We expect big things from both Nike and its UFC athletes in the near future.
