When the Las Vegas Review-Journal ran a front page story detailing the impending debut of the Shoezeum, Jordy Geller's inbox was flooded with fans requesting a visit. The owner of over 2,500 Nike sneakers, Geller is willing to bet that visitors of the Sin City are willing to shell out $10 to stop in and browse through is collection. The shoes are sorted throughout 23 themed exhibits (seriously), including a "Welcome to Las Vegas" section drawing inspirations from the sultry city's penchant for drinking and gambling. Geller not only intends to attract the casual tourist, but also believes his gallery will bring in the the big fish as well, citing entertainers and celebrities fascination with fancy footwear. While Geller's shoe collection may be impressive, only time will tell how the Shoezeum will fare against the odds. [via ESPN]
