New Balance is taking its share of the Olympic spotlight.

As the footwear brand prepares to commemorate 30 years of manufacturing in the U.K., it will be represented by 37 world-class athletes from 15 countries at the London Games which kick off later today. Given the brand’s rich running tradition, it’s only fitting that all of the New Balance athletes will be participate in track and field events. Among the athletes are two Americans, 2011 Daegu World Championship Gold Medalist Jenny Simpson (1500m) and Kim Conley (5000m).

New Balance athletes and guests will also be on hand at ‘The New Balance Experience Center’ in London to promote the brand and celebrate the Olympic Games.
