Not even the San Francisco 49ers knew exactly what they were getting when they drafted Jerry Rice 16th overall in the 1985 NFL draft from small-time Mississippi Valley State. Fast forward to today and Rice is still regarded as the best Wide Receiver of all time and holds the record for all time touchdowns scored with 208 — a record that sits well with Rice's 13 pro bowl selections and three Super Bowl rings. It was only fitting that today he received his own one-of-one Nike Vapor cleats as well as Air Max 1.3 Trainers on Nike's Beaverton campus today. The Vapor cleats take on the more traditional 49ers colorway fading from gold to red, while the Trainers come with a black upper with a full red 360 Air unit.
