When the Air Jordan 1 "Banned" sneaker finally dropped, it came more or less completely out of left field. Rumors and pictures started to circulate last year at this time but that's all they were — rumors. Then it happened yesterday: the black and red Air Jordan 1 "Banned" (with details inspired by this classic Air Jordan commercial) was released to the public through Nike factory stores. Only 9,000 pairs were made available, and only 160 pairs were up for grabs at each outlet.  Jordan has teased us before with rumors and release dates, but this one actually came true. Were you able to pick up a pair?
