Having won five of the last six French Opens, "King of the Clay" Rafael Nadal is arguably one of the best if not the best in tennis today. Nike, in honor of the 2011 French Open, has designed a new tennis shoe inspired by Nadal's dominance on the court. The shoe itself mirrors Nadal's aggressive playing style, made to be very durable and responsive — the hexagon pattern on the upper maximizes surface area for better ventilation. Since Nadal is practically a beast, Nike also added a dual-density TPU upper, enmeshed inner sleeve, Lunarlon midsole and a Max Air cushioning unit. Not bad Nadal, not bad at all.
