Much like the EA Sports x Nike Zoom Huarache TR Low "Fight Night Champion" where EA created a sneaker commemorating the release of the famed boxing game, PlayStation had these done up in honor of Minnesota Twins catcher Joe Mauer for making the cover of (PlayStation 3 exclusive) MLB 11: The Show for a second time in a row. The sneaker features stitching that mirrors that of a baseball, as well as Sony's PlayStation logo emblazoned on the tongue. As an added treat, the game's cover art with Mauer's image and the MLB 11: The Show are embellished on the insoles, left and right respectively. These are very limited and will release on April 9th at Nike Mall of America, Eastbay and select Minnesota and Chicago retailers.
