Half of the sneaker game is knowing what kicks are out when, and which shops have them. Our column, "Shelf Space" looks at what shops around the country are stocking in a given week and allows for a quick glimpse into the mind of the buyer/owner who put them there.

This week, we checked in with half convenience shop, half chic sneaker boutique Bodega down in Boston, MA where Leo, the shop manager, took us through 10 of their newest, hottest, and best selling sneakers. Hit the jump to see what Bodega currently has in stock as well as what Leo has to say about each one. If you find yourself in Boston this weekend, make sure you stop by Bodega located at 6 Clearway Street.

Yuketen Country Ranger, $290
"A favorite among everyone who works here and everyone who shops here. The price is what makes people wary, but from personal experience, these are worth every cent. Yuketen makes extremely high-quality leather footwear and accessories that will stand the test of time. And if the crepe soles, for some reason, start to fall apart, they'll even resole them for you."

Air Jordan I KO Hi, $125
"The 1 in all canvas. Perfection in 85. Classic to this day. I'd just suggest getting a toothbrush to scrub off the added yellowing on the midsole for the vintage effect. I hate it when shoe companies do that."

Clae Russell - Black Canvas, $115
"The Russell, as with most Clae styles, bridges the gap between athletic sneaker and casual footwear. For the people who don't want to wear loafers and wing-tips yet but can't let go of their Dunks and Jordans, these are the perfect alternative."

Nike Lunar Chukka Woven+, $130
"I love Wovens. Maybe it's the Asian in me, but there's just something about them. I love this pair particularly because it reminds me of the HTM's that came out back in '02. Plus, with the Lunar sole, this shoe is that much more comfortable and lighter."

adidas Rod Laver, $65
"So many people just absolutely love the Rod Laver. Rightfully so since it's such a timeless sneaker with a classic silhouette."

Converse CT Spec Ox - Black Chambray, $70
"Converse did a great job with these with their choice of materials and color. Chambray is the current textile of the moment with everyone using it on everything they're putting out. And with spring upon us, Converse went with a lightweight version of the fabric for an interesting take on a classic shoe."

Shofolk Artie Mo, $222
"A subsidary of the UK clothing brand Folk, Shofolk has been making creative, yet functional, footwear since 2004. Unique shapes and interesting colors, as well as textures, play a big part in the creative process of these amazing leather shoes. Stocked in only 3 domestic doors, you're sure not to run into anyone wearing these personal favorites."

Generic Surplus Wing-Tip, $72
"Generic Surplus is the younger brother of utilitarian footwear company Generic Man. By creating understated sneakers with refined lines and simple colorways, Generic Surplus bridges the gap between fashion and function. And with these clean suede shoes in a wing-tip pattern, they've got a winner."

adidas Stan Smith 80 TF, $90
"With Adidas maintaining quite a history here in Boston, it's hard not to have 2 of their shoes on this list. This particular pair of Stan Smiths features the interchangeability function of switching from high-top to low-top. When customers see little details like these, they geek out."

Vans x Bodega Realtree Camo Chukka LX, $120
"Shameless plug. We released pictures of these shoes back in October, and we had so many people freaking out over them. This summer, they're finally going to see the light of day with what we're expecting to be a July release. Featuring an all-nubuck leather upper in olive green, Realtree camouflage lining, brass eyelets, and a koozie to match, these are the jump off."
