Each Tuesday/Thursday we've been asking our followers to Twit-Pic the sneakers they are wearing that day, and some followers have been so consistent in tweeting heat that we got to thinking that they deserved to be recognized. So, being proactive as we are around these parts, we came up with an idea to showcase the 10 best sneakers in a Complex follower's sneaker collection every Thursday. Meet this week's all-star.

Last sneaker purchased: Black/Red Jordan 1 AJKO
Prized sneaker in collection: Black Jordan V. Not the most valuable, but my favorite nonetheless.
Holy Grail: McFly Hyperdunk. I really love the Hyperdunk, and I missed out on these. I haven't picked them up because I can't stomach the re-seller's asking price.
Approximate size of sneaker collection: 160+ pairs.
How it is that you have such a solid collection: I started by acquiring all of the sneakers that I wanted as a kid and couldn't afford, but now my purchases are driven by more than nostalgia. As I get older, I'm finding a growing appreciation for design and build quality, and my collection is changing accordingly. Of course, I'll still pick up retros if they're interesting, but I'm finding more and more of my sneaker budget being spent on shoes by brands like Ransom and Clae. I pick up 2 to 4 pairs a month, and since I wear everything in my collection, I try to focus on pieces that I'll want to wear long term.

10. Nice Kicks x Ronnie Fieg Asics Gel Lyte III

Andy says: Being from Canada a good boot is a must and these are the best. Subtle colors, great details, and super rugged.

Andy says: These are yellowing, but they're still the perfect shoe. Inspired design that manages to avoid looking gimmicky. This is the shoe that I lusted after as a kid.
