Ahead of its premiere next year on Prime Video, The Boys spinoff Gen V has given fans a hype-inducing first look at what to expect from the new series starring Jaz Sinclair.

“Welcome to Godolkin University. It’s a safe space for you to thrive,” viewers are told in the opening moments of the teaser, which was recently unveiled at CCXP and is now available in full up top via YouTube.

Joining Sinclair (who plays Marie Moreau) in the new series from showrunners Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters are Chance Perdomo, Lizze Broadway,  Patrick Schwarzenegger, Maddie Phillips, London Thor, Asa Germann, Shelley Conn, Derek Luh, Sean Patrick Thomas, and Marco Pigossi.

As mentioned above, Gen V places viewers at the Vought International-operated college Godolkin University, where highly competitive Supes are tasked not only with superhero-related obligations but also with the ins and outs of growing up.

The series premieres next year on Prime Video, with the much-anticipated fourth season of The Boys also expected to be rolled out in 2023. As reported in August, The Walking Dead and Supernatural alum Jeffrey Dean Morgan has joined the Boys ensemble in an undisclosed capacity for the new season.

“Hope you ready for me… cuz I sure as shit ready for you!” Morgan said of the casting on Instagram, adding that he was already deep into script work at the time.
