Johnny Knoxville might have some loose lips.

The 51-year-old actor suggested he might know where the next season of White Lotus will be filmed when discussing his relationship with show creator Mike White.

“Mike White is a very close friend of mine. He and I had been in Tokyo together,” Knoxville toldVulture. “I think that’s where the next … Oh, I’m not giving anything away.”

He added, “I might call him again as soon as this is over.”

Season 2 of the HBO comedy-drama ended recently, so there’s been speculation about where Season 3 will be shot. Season 1 took place at the Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea and Season 2 brought viewers to the Four Seasons San Domenico Palace in Taormina, Sicily. Now, it seems White has his eyes set on Asia.

“I think it’d be fun to maybe go to a whole different continent. You know, we did Europe, and maybe Asia, something crazy like that, that would be fun,” he said in an interview with Deadline back in October.

In a separate conversation with HBO Max, he said that while Season 1 of White Lotus focused on money and Season 2 on sex, the next season “would be maybe a satirical and funny look at death and Eastern religion and spirituality. It feels like it could be a rich tapestry to do another round at White Lotus.”

In fact, Quebec City even threw its hat in the ring as a host for Season 3. Robert Mercure, the general manager of Destinations Québec Cité, created a deck as a pitch for his city to be the next location.

“This has always been a bit of a dream for us. And we’ve been thinking about it for a while: to be one of the next destinations for your acclaimed series, The White Lotus,” Mercure wrote. “We’re inviting you to our city because we believe Quebec City is a destination extraordinaire.”

The HBO Max series follows guests who stay at the imaginary White Lotus hotel chain and the employees who work there. Season 1 and Season 2 are currently streaming on HBO Max.
