UPDATE 08/17/16:
An alleged stalker was arrested at the Hollywood Hills residence of Kendall Jenner late Sunday night, TMZreports. Kendall was reportedly driving up to the gate of her new home in the Hills Sunday when she noticed a man standing in the driveway. As she proceeded to enter the gate, the man reportedly followed her onto the property.
Kendall reportedly "freaked out" and promptly called 911, choosing not to exit her vehicle until local police arrived. The unidentified man was eventually arrested for stalking and also had an outstanding warrant from an unrelated incident. According toTMZ, the residence's location has "had its share of problems." The suspect was later identified by the L.A. City Attorney's office as Shavaughn McKenzie, TMZreported. McKenzie was charged with 1 count of misdemeanor stalking and another count of misdemeanor trespassing. According to TMZ, he's been arrested "multiple times" at UCLA and related campus buildings and currency has 2 probation violations attached to his name.
A similar incident involving sister Kylie Jenner made headlines back in June, when a so-called "admirer" tried to burst through her Oaks home's security gate multiple times. TMZ reported that the man showed up without invitation and tried to convince Kylie's security guards he had a previously scheduled meeting. When the guards denied him entry, he reportedly rammed the security with his own vehicle only to leave and do it all over again 2 weeks later. He was later charged with 2 misdemeanor counts of vandalism.
For the cover of this month's Vogue, Kendall opened up about her thoughts on fame and how she seeks out brief moments of anonymity as a respite. "I've always been super different from all my sisters, especially my Kardashian sisters," Kendall said during the lengthy but definitely worth your time discussion. "They've always been into the glam thing and dressing up every day and being in the thick of it. Part of me loves that, but at the same time, I love dressing down and having my private life. It's almost, like, empowering to know that no one knows we're sitting here right now—because it's not usually like this."
