Enjoying HBO's new series True Detective? If so, good news: Creator Nic Pizzolatto already has another project in the works, this time based off of his 2010 novel Galveston. In a press release today, Jean Doumanian Productions (who produced August: Osage County) announced that Galveston would receive a film adaptation, based off of a screenplay adapted by Pizzolatto himself. Even better: Rust and Bone star Matthias Schoenaerts is set to star.

The film will be directed by Janus Metz, the director of Armadillo. Filming should begin sometime in spring 2014.
