This may just be the freakiest thing you watch all day. After premiering to amazing reviews at the Toronto Film Festival in September, Denis Villeneuve's Jake Gyllenhaal-starring psychological thriller Enemy is finally getting a theatrical release next month. Until then, though, we have this trailer, which, in short, is just the right amount of twisted, creepy, and terrifying all at once thanks to Gyllenhaal's haunting performance. Not to give too much away (just watch the trailer!), the film follows Gyllenhaal's character as he discovers that he has an exact look-alike, and, according to Comingsoon.net, proceeds to engage him "in a complex and dangerous struggle."
In addition to Gyllenhaal, Enemy stars Mélanie Laurent, Isabella Rossellini, and Sarah Gadon. As for its release: It's set to open in select theaters on March 14, and on DirectTV on February 6. You can check out the trailer above.
