Wow, Atlanta Looks a Lot Like a "Walking Dead" Poster Right Now

Thanks to their very own snowmaggeddon, the city of Atlanta has mostly come to a standstill, and just yesterday, motorists were left stranded in crippling traffic for hours during a snowstorm. Today, the roads were eerily still and empty in the city, which led to this photo from Twitter of Atlanta's Freedom Parkway: Completely abandoned, and snow-covered.

Looks familiar, doesn't it? That's because it nearly mirrors the above shot from a early Walking Dead poster, when Rick heads into Atlanta in an effort to find his family during the first season. Even residents in Atlanta have taken to comparing the scene on the streets to the AMC series: "It was like The Walking Dead out there," one man who sat in traffic for five hours told news reporters after he abandoned his car and walked six miles to his home. "People were abandoning their vehicles and walking everywhere."
