Blast from the past.

Remember Baldur's Gate? Would you want to see a '90s-style Western RPG made today in that vein? Then you'll go nuts over Obsidian's Kickstarted game formerly known as "Project Eternity", now officially Pillars of Eternity.
The teaser looks about as old-school as you can get – it's pretty weird to see a big RPG releasing in 2014 using an isometric perspective, but definitely looks like it'll fill the gap left by the absence of games like Neverwinter Nights. Obsidian raised almost $4 million for the game's development last year, nearly three times their original Kickstarter goal. Pillars of Etenity drops sometime next year.
