Ash Wednesday, which means tonight we need to sin to make all that repenting really worth it. For those of us not in New Orleans, there are only a few options for large-scale debauchery and decadence. Fortunately, Le Poisson Rouge hosts the 2nd Annual Two Boots Mardi Gras Ball tonight, giving you the opportunity to get down to the soulful sounds of Loose Marbles, Reverend Billy and his Gospel Choir, Hungry March Band, Mamarazzi and Raya Brass Band, and more. Loose Marbles is a jazz swing ensemble straight out of the Big Easy, meaning tonight's festivities will stay authentic. The only problem with celebrating Mardi Gras in a city that's not New Orleans is that not everyone you meet tomorrow will be colossally hung over. But don't let that stop you.

All proceeds go to the Lower Eastside Girls Club, an organization providing special programs that allow young girls to grow and learn.
