Rihanna Says She Feels "Fat" Some Days, Then Goes Topless

Whatever insecurities the singer has, she sure isn't letting on about them in public.

Despite the steely self-confidence she displays in public, Rihanna struggles with insecurities too.

While in the U.K. promoting "Battleship," she told "Daybreak" host Kate Garraway last week that there were days on the set of the film where she didn't feel so wholly confident in her appearance.

"You get comfortable with the fact that that’s your body and that is what it is - that I had to learn," she explained. "After doing that on set, I started doing that in the mirror because it was like, 'Okay, whatever, I feel fat today, but what can you really do about it?'"

Accepting the way things are is one of the way she's able to not let her self-image problems slow her down.

"You have to just accept your body," she said. "You may not love it all the way, but you just have to be comfortable with it, comfortable with knowing that that’s your body. You just want something else that someone else has, but that doesn’t mean what you have isn’t beautiful, because people always want what you have, and you always want what they have – no one is ever 100 per cent like, ‘Yes, I'm the bomb dot com – from head to toe!’"

Later that afternoon, she stepped out in a topless ensemble— is she wearing anything at all under that blazer?— and proved that maybe she is, as she put it, "the bomb dot com."
