As we reported earlier, we've got less than a week before the full, 13-episode season of Daredevil hits Netflix. Stars Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio took to Reddit's AMA series this afternoon to answer questions about the newest comic book adaptation.
"It's a new way of doing a superhero show. It's something unlike what you've seen before. Because of Steven DeKnight's writing and, as I said, the platform under this umbrella of Netflix. Netflix allowed us the time and gave us the care to get it right, so you'll have 13 hours of storytelling," D'Onofrio said. "That's something, when it comes to superheroes, you've never experienced before. And I believe that we took the time they gave us and we were inspired by the material. And in my opinion, knocked it out of the park."
"I'm not just saying this but I genuinely feel that this show is unlike anything I have seen," Cox said. "Steven DeKnight has done an amazing job. However, there are times when I feel like the show is a bit like The Wire. I hope so at least."
Check out the whole thing here. Daredevil hits Netflix April 10.
