Halloween. It's that time of year again, and luckily for video game and horror fans Universal announced last month that it would base one of its Orlando, Florida Halloween Horror Nights 23 mazes on one of the most beloved game series ever: Resident Evil.
This year's celebration is the 23rd Halloween Horror Nights event, but it's only the second time the theme park has used a video game as inspiration for its high-budget haunted houses. But last year's Silent Hill maze was so terrifying that we just knew they'd do it again, and when they announced the Resident Evil maze in August we weren't exactly surprised.
We were excited, though. Thankfully, when Complex got to check out the maze firsthand during the Halloween Horror Nights 23 opening celebration, we found out that our anticipation was more than justified.
If you're on the fence about whether it's worth checking out, these ten bullet points (and hard-to-get photos) might persuade you that this once-in-a-lifetime, life-sized tribute to Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 shouldn't be missed.
