Costume Quest 2 is happening. Just announced by indie publisher Midnight City as a partnership between developer Double Fine and Fullbright, it's the company's first sequel.
Check out the video above and some deep thoughts from Double Fine creative director Tim Schafer:
“For the last couple of years, whenever Halloween came around, I felt like something was missing. No matter how many pumpkins I carved, apples I bobbed or candy I ate, I just couldn't fill the big spooky hole inside of me. But then I realized what was missing; I needed more Costume Quest. And also, I really wanted a T-Shirt with glowing skulls on it.”
Costume Quest was the cutest damn Halloween game ever made, with great writing, the engaging little RPG sucked players in. Costume Quest 2 will be coming later this year to PC and consoles.
