Earlier this month, the hilarious Wanda Sykes announced that she'd be bringing the funny to Netflix in the form of her first stand-up special for the streaming giant, Wanda Sykes: Not Normal. For Netflix, and fans of Wanda's career, this is a perfect match. Sykes has not only won an Emmy for her work on HBO's The Chris Rock Show but she's been featured on shows like black-ish, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Broad City, and The Simpsons, as well as lending her voice to a number of animated television shows and films.
With Not Normal, which premieres on May 21, Sykes brings her wit to the masses, delivering the realest of talk with a smile. In this exclusive clip, Sykes drops knowledge on what many black people have experienced: white people coming back from their vacations and comparing their tans to our black skin. Wanda wants you to cut that shit out...unless you're trying to share in some of the other things that come with being black. It's hilarious and necessary.
