Stanford University isn’t a party school, but that didn’t stop three students from figuring out a way for you to party hard without experiencing a black out. Actually, the more apt term would be “short-term memory loss.”

As part of group assignment, self-described nerds Spencer Savitz, Vienna Harvey and Niko Alino developed a complex algorithm that determined the amount of alcohol one is able to consume before short-term memory loss kicks in. Per the Daily Dot, they explained the somewhat lengthy process in a three-minute clip uploaded to YouTube.

If only this could be converted into an easy-to-use app. Now, that would be a game changer.
