Norwegian Air Considering $69 Flights to Europe

College students, rejoice!

If you can brave the risk of finding a vomit bag or your pilot suddenly dying mid-flight, good news is on the horizon. The Huffington Post reports that Norwegian Air is looking to sell one-way tickets to Europe for $69 starting as early as 2017.

The news steps from an interview with Chief Executive Officer Bjørn Kjos on Tuesday. The budget airline is thinking about providing flights from U.S. airports like New York's Westchester County Airport and Connecticut's Bradley International Airport to the Norwegian cities Edinburgh and Bergen. A round trip could be around $300, compared to the more than $500 a trip currently averages.

The potential price cut is part of Norway’s plans to be a more active destination for trans-Atlantic flyers. If they go through with this idea, they may very well succeed.
