The Flenory Brothers Deal With the Growing Pains of an Empire in this Exclusive ‘BMF’ Sneak Peek

'BMF' is heating up and the Flenory brothers are finding out that running a drug empire is a lot harder than it seems in this exclusive sneak peek of Episode 4.

BMF is heating up and the Flenory brothers are finding out that running a drug empire is a lot harder than it seems. In this exclusive sneak peek of Episode 4 of the STARZ hit series titled “Heroes,” airing Sunday, Oct. 17, Big Meech (Demetrius “Lil Meech” Flenory Jr.) and Terry ‘Southwest T’ Flenory (Da’Vinchi) are fighting back against their street rival Lamar (Eric Kofi-Abrefa), as his efforts to bring down The 50 Boyz continue. The brothers are dealing with a lack of supplies at their new stash house, and they plan what will likely be a tense conversation with their drug supplier Pat, played by Wood Harris, to give them more products to sell. Their product is in high demand, but they’re having trouble adjusting to the fast pace their business is growing in.

The stash house is located in the suburbs, and it’s a stark contrast from their family’s Detroit home. Their swanky new house is beautifully furnished and Terry compares the neighborhood it’s in to Leave It to Beaver. The area is nothing like where they grew up in, and far from the city, which might keep the police at bay. After finding an eviction notice at his parents’ house and seeing that their home was on the brink of foreclosure earlier this season, Meech has stepped in to pay their mortgage. Their parents refused to accept money from him because of the nature of his business, so he was forced to do it behind their backs. Executive producer Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson spoke to Complex before the show’s premiere and told us about how financial stressors can affect the parent-child dynamic, especially for those who are getting money illegally. “When there’s a point where you receive an eviction notice, and the way that you don’t get evicted is by way of the child’s choices, it can get pretty rough,” he said. “He [Meech] had to pay the bill without his dad’s awareness, or without them being aware of that, because they wouldn’t accept it from him.”

Just days after its strong Season 1 world premiere on Sept. 26, STARZ announced that it would be renewing BMF for a second season. The show, which is based on the real Black Mafia Family drug empire from Detroit, debuted as the No. 1 premiere on the network’s app this year, and according to STARZ, it has become one of their most highly engaged series premieres ever. Check out this exclusive preview of BMF’s upcoming fourth episode, available this Sunday at 9 p.m. ET on STARZ.
