Don't Be Alarmed, But West Nile Virus Has Been Detected in New York City Mosquitoes

The city is taking care of this ASAP.

A statement from the New York City Department of Health revealed the West Nile virus has been found in city mosquitoes:

To address the issue, the Department of Health will begin spraying larvicide in the Queens, the Bronx, and Staten Island beginning this week.
