A preliminary autopsy has been released for the unarmed black man fatally shot by a Wisconsin police officer last week.
According to NBC News, the report, released by the Dane County Medical Examiner's Office, states that Tony Robinson sustained gunshot wounds to the head, upper body, and torso. What's more, NBC News reports that medical officials are still waiting on the return of toxicology reports.
Robinson, 19, was killed last Friday during a struggle with Madison police officer Matt Kenny. Officer Kenny was responding to reports of a man walking in traffic and striking pedestrians. After confronting Robinson at a home, the Madison Police Department says he shot Robinson as they fought.
Kenny has been placed on administrative leave, and the killing is being investigated by not only the Madison Police Department and Dane County Medical Examiner's Office, but the state Division of Criminal Investigation as well.
