Faced with a potential crisis after flight attendants served all the food aboard a flight from Denver to Washington forced to stop in Wyoming due to storms, a smart pilot knew that ordering pizza would quell a possibly uprising.
According to CNN, Frontier Airlines pilot Gerhard Bradner ordered enough Domino's pizza for each row on the plane to have their own. Adam Ritchie, manager for the Cheyenne, Wyo. location that Bradner called, told CNN he ended up providing roughly 38 pizzas, enough to feed about 160 people.
More impressive, Bradner paid for everything himself. Seizing the opportunity for good PR, Frontier Airlines spokeswoman Tyri Squyres said it's not out of the ordinary for their pilots "to go above and beyond to care for our customers."
