40-year-old Brian Reynolds had the misfortune of being issued a traffic citation in Lynn, MA, on Monday after he was run over by his own truck. Police found him injured and face down on the road after they were alerted to a car accident. Reynolds explained that he had been driving down a small hill when his brakes failed, and after sticking his leg out of the vehicle in an attempt to stop it, he tried to run off of the road and into an embankment.
Reynolds fell out of the vehicle in the process, and it rolled over his left leg before crashing into a fire hydrant. The police were less than sympathetic, issuing him a $35 citation for operating defective equipment and adding insult to injury.
Hey, it's a cold game.
