New Yorkers might be able to receive grilled cheese sandwiches delivered by air very soon.
The concept was developed by Australian company Jafflechutes, who succeeded in raising enough money to bring their plan to North America. That plan will involve a lucky person receiving a grilled cheese gift from the heavens when they stand on a "X" located in the city.
Still confused about how this will work? Here's more detail:
If you'd like to catch an airborne jaffle (that's an Australian word for grilled cheese), Jafflechutes says they will announce the next drop one day in advance on Twitter and Facebook. Interested parties can then order via Paypal, $5 for cheese and tomato and $6 for cheese and ham. At a predetermined time the following day, stand on an "x" marked on the street at a secret location and look to the sky.
If you still have questions (which you surely do), Jafflechutes promises that more information is on the way.
