A manhunt is on for 39-year-old William Scott Woodin, who escaped from Theo Lacy Jail in Orange County, California on Wednesday evening through a small kitchen window while on kitchen detail.

How did Wooding, who's 6 feet tall and weighs 200 lbs, manage to fit through the tiny window, did he butter himself up first? Anyway, it looks like his first visit as a fugitive was to the Carl's Jr. directly across the street, where witnesses say they saw him shed his jumpsuit.

Woodin was arrested in October on suspicion of stealing a watch from Nordstrom, which violated his parole for theft and drug convictions. Mr. Nice Watch, who was sentenced to 314 days in a local jail because California state prisons are horribly overcrowded, is the first inmate to dip from the "maximum security" jail in 20 years.

Anytime a nonviolent offender becomes the first escapee in two decades, adjustments needs to be made.
