The woman who was arrested for shoplifting and meth possession, then shocked police by making out with her brother in jail has run afoul of the law once again. This time, officials say she put her husband in a good old-fashioned Texas choke hold during a dispute.
Mere days after Charlene Ellet, 24, was released from jail for the bizarre initial incident, police were summoned to a Texas motel room regarding a domestic dispute. Montgomery County Sheriff's Office Spokesman Lt. Brady Fitzgerald told SFGate that the argument was over a cell phone.
"Apparently there was a dispute over a cellular phone at the location and the male reported that the female assaulted him," he explained. "She said he assaulted her, but deputies advised that his injuries were consistent with his report."
The man, who remains unidentified, struggled to speak due to scratches and swelling to his throat. Ellet and her brother, 26-year-old Cameron Beck, were arrested in Porter, Texas on Feb. 28 after Ellet was accused of shoplifting at a Walmart. Police searched their car and found materials that tested positive for meth, then arrested both of them. While in jail, the siblings—who have the same father—began making out in their conjoined cells.
It's worth noting that the motel room where Ellet choked her husband out is the same place that she told police she and Beck put up a partition so her two-year-old twin daughters would not see them having sex. "Partition" will never sound the same.
