Brooklyn Kolache Co. opened right near the Clinton Hill border in Bed-Stuy last week. What's a kolache? It’s a pastry typically made in the southwest filled with everything from eggs, sausage, and cheese to apricot, poppy seed, and cherry.
The menu features a combination of sweet and savory treats, as well as coffee, hibiscus iced tea and cherry limeade. Brooklyn Kolache Co. is open Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., weekend hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
