Life may seem futile after Endgame and The Long Night – and Netflix knows this.

See below for their ways to self-sustain and entertain this May.

Knock Down the House premiered at Sundance in January, where it won the U.S. Documentary Audience Award and Festival Favourite Award.

Knock Down The House airs May 1 on Netflix Australia.

This Ted Bundy flick has been making headlines for a while now, with Zac Efron’s beautiful mug leading a public lust for the serial killer he portrays.

However misplaced, it can’t be understated that Bundy’s success was mainly due to his good looks and charm.

If you’re wondering about the wordy title, it’s verbatim from the court judge on Bundy’s trial:

“The crimes were extremely wicked, shockingly evil, vile, and the product of design to inflict a high degree of pain.”

Yikes.

Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile airs May 3 on Netflix Australia.

Need to fill the BFFs-in-a-big-city void that Broad City left behind?

From Lisa Hanawalt and Raphael Bob-Waksberg, the duo behind BoJack Horseman, comes a new adult cartoon with a new set of talking animals.

Tiffany Haddish and Ali Wong star as Tuca, a “cocky, carefree toucan” and Bertie, an “anxious, daydreaming songbird.”

Whimsical as ever, Hanawalt was inspired to create the show after watching a nature documentary in which toucans dug into other birds’ nests and gobbled up their eggs.

Tuca & Bertie airs May 3 on Netflix Australia.

Easy, Season 3 (series)

To say the very least, Joe Swanberg’s Easy probably has the highest billing of any project outside of the MCU. Everyone from Orlando Bloom and Marc Marron, to Aubrey Plaza and Emily Ratajkowski have come and gone from the anthology series, despairing over love and self in a Chicagoan setting.

On being renewed for a third season, Swanberg said:

“The fact that I was able to collaborate with so many of my favorite actors took an already dreamy experience to the next level. I couldn’t be more proud of the new season, and I can’t wait to share it.”

The third and final season of Easy airs May 10 on Netflix Australia.

The Society (series)

It seems like director Marc Webb (500 Days of Summer) has come up with a way to counter privilege and affluenza: dump rich teenagers into a strange town and essentially let them go to purge.

While The Society definitely bears some Lord of the Flies influence, it also hints at some supernatural elements.

Just no smoke monsters, please.

The Society airs May 10 on Netflix Australia.

The Perfection (film)

Allison Williams perfected the ‘coldly-staring-sociopath’ as Rose in Get Out, so there’s no question she will terrify audiences again in The Perfection.

Williams plays Charlotte, a cello prodigy looking to reconnect with her instructor, who is now feting another young star, Elizabeth.

With stringed instruments historically being the horror genre’s best friend, we’re already gnawing our nails off at the thought of a centre-stage cello.

The Perfection airs May 24 on Netflix Australia.

Ava DuVernay’s true crime drama brings us back to 1989, where the Central Park Five – five black and Latino teenagers from Harlem – were wrongfully accused of brutally raping and beating a woman in Central Park.

The case captivated US tabloids, with then-real estate mogul Donald Trump spending $85,000 on full-page ads in four New York newspapers to call for the death penalty.

When They See Us will chronicle the lives of Antron McCray, Kevin Richardson, Yusef Salaam, Raymond Santana and Korey Wise, and their arduous battle to prove their innocence.

When They See Us airs May 31 on Netflix Australia.
