Video: Take A Look At This Clip From The Highly-Anticipated Movie "Killing Them Softly" Starring Brad Pitt

It's easy to forget just how good this man really is.

One of the most underrated movies of the past decade is 2007's The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford. Director Andrew Dominik's period epic about the life and death of the country's most notorious bandit was both beautifully shot and gut-wrenchingly emotional. Along with a great performance by Casey Affleck, Brad Pitt turned in one of the better roles of his career as the outlaw Jesse James.

Now, Dominik and Pitt are teaming up again for the crime thriller Killing Them Softly. In the movie, Pitt plays Jackie Cogan, a mob enforcer investigating the robbery of a high-stakes poker game. In this latest clip from the movie, courtesy of IGN, Pitt talks to Richard Jenkins' character about the art of killing. It's both twisted and intense as he flippantly explains his preferences for how to properly murder someone.

This movie is already generating a lot of buzz and has been selected to compete for the illustrious Palme d'Or at this year's Cannes Film Festival.

Killing Them Softly will hit theaters on September 12.
