Twitter Gets Its "Facebook" Redesign Today
While many social media users have long ditched Facebook for micro sites like Instagram, Twitter is going against the grain.

All good things must come to an end.
While many social media users have long ditched Facebook for micro-sites like Instagram, Twitter is going against the grain and redesigning their user profiles to look like spitting images of Facebook's. This redesign, which the company started testing in February, is rolling out today. It features a larger cover photo, a light gray background (no more customizing that,) profile pictures are moved to the left, and your most popular tweets are now enlarged to make them stand out from the other tweets no one else cared for. Users can also pin tweets to the top of the page, so if there's something you'd like people to keep on seeing long after it's tweeted, pinning is your solution.
Celebrities like Floyd Mayweather andChanning Tatum have their new profiles up already, so you can get a preview of what you're in for by heading to their pages. While every user won't get the update by the day's end, many of them will get it in the coming weeks.
