While all rumors are pointing to a September release for Apple's iPhone 6, production of the device could start next month.
Reuters is reporting that Apple's suppliers will begin production on the displays for the iPhone 6 in May, with the goal to launch the device in the fall. Sharp, Japan Display, and LG have been hired to make the screens, which are said to be 4.5- and 5.5-inch models, much larger than the iPhone 5S's 4-inch display. As we reported earlier, it still looks as if the 5.5-inch model will be delayed for a few months after the launch of the 4.5-inch version. But with the news that the 4.5-inch model is on schedule, we may have something to look forward to come September.
