A Baltimore City police officer has been charged in a case of police brutality that was captured on camera.
On June 15, Officer Vincent Cosom Jr. got into a non-violent, verbal exchange with Kollin Truss. The incident escalated into a full-blown beating as Cosom was caught on local surveillance camera mercilessly laying into Truss. On Wednesday, Cosom was charged with perjury, second-degree assault, and misconduct. Truss's attorneys maintain that these charges aren't nearly strong enough considering the strength of the video evidence.
