As happens with viral sensations like Noah Ritter, live television outlets simply must interview him. But with a self-described live television novice like Noah, the mystique can quickly fade and collectively we decide that the real thing is not nearly as impressive we once thought.
Well, after watching this Good Morning America interview from today, we’re even more in on Noah than we were before. We’re fully ready to accept this five-year-old, soon-to-be-kindergartener as a life coach, spiritual guide, and all-around best friend.
Here are some of the pearls of wisdom he had for Michael Strahan and Co. this morning:
- Regarding his interview going viral: “It is so great because I’ve really never had any people like me.” (We find this hard to believe. We suspect he was intentionally being ironic.)
- Regarding being a celebrity: “It is good. It is great.” (Succinct, accurate. Nailed it.)
- Regarding Strahan: “I know you’re a part of the Giants, I used to like the Giants but my grandfather brainwashed me into liking the Steelers.” (Washington should take note of such adept political tip-toeing.)
- Regarding dinosaurs: "I brainwashed myself into liking dinosaurs…I’m going to be a paleontologist.” (A sense of humor mixed with ambition? What a man.)
- Regarding whether he likes to swim: “Yes. I am a very good swimmer.” (Because if you’re going to do something, do it well.)
Keep on doing you, Noah. Apparently, we’re with you until the end.
