Another Tupac film might be heading for the big screen—but first, it needs your help. Gobi Rahimi, a former Tupac producer, who also directed the videos for “2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted” and “Made Niggaz” has created an Indiegogo for 7Dayz, a film about Pac’s last days spent in a hospital after being shot following a Las Vegas drive-by shooting in 1996.

Unlike the long postponed Morgan Creek Pac biopic, Rahimi says the film won’t be about Pac: “It’s not a movie about Tupac. It’s a movie that will have Tupac in it. It’s about how he changed my life.” No, Pac won’t be appearing via hologram, but through never-before-seen footage Rahimi has of their final recording sessions.

On the film's page, which aims to raise $300,000 , Rahimi writes about his experience the night of the shooting and tells of how he stayed at Pac’s hospital bedside in the days after.

7Dayz won’t be able to use Pac’s music since Rahimi doesn’t have the rights, but he’s still hoping to go forward.

“I’ve been sitting on this footage for 20 years,” Rahimi said. “I can’t wait any longer for someone to give me the green light, so I’m just gonna go for it.”
