Beautiful humans and future Cool Parents Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are welcoming their first child this spring. They first announced they were expecting back in October on Instagram. Teigen, known for being genuine and open about her life, talked about why she chose to have a daughter with Legend for this pregnancy for which she underwent in vitro fertilization (IVF). A sitcom about Teigen and Legend's relationship is in the works so maybe audiences will see IVF tackled there.
In an exclusive interview with People Teigen said, "I've made this decision. Not only am I having a girl, but I picked the girl from her little embryo. I picked her and was like, 'Let's put in the girl.'"

In explaining why she chose her baby's sex Teigen told People she was "excited" and "allured" thinking about how Legend would father a girl because she thinks it's cute how "mushy" men get when they have a daughter. "It excited me to see…just the thought of seeing him with a little girl. I think he deserves a little girl. I think he deserves that bond," said Teigen. "A boy will come along. We'll get there too, so it's not like we really have to pick. But he definitely is very lucky to have a little girl. And this girl is going to be so completely lucky to have John as her papa—it's crazy!"
But people started criticizing Teigen for choosing the baby's sex, which she addressed on Twitter and even trolled in return.
Known for annihilating Twitter trolls Teigen sonned a troll today in the classiest way while showing what a great mom she's going to be.
