Besides the public transit directions, the other feature most iPhone users missed when making the transition to iOS 6 was Google Maps Street View. Apple's Flyover feature, which gives you a photo-realistic 3D view of cities, is visually impressive, but doesn't allow you to see the fronts of buildings the same way you can with Street View. Well, there's good news for those you still reeling from the lost. No, we don't know when, or if, a Google Maps iOS 6 app is coming. But, according to the New York Times, Google will be adding Street View capability to its mobile web app sometiime in the next two weeks.
