Looking to one-up the Fox, Disney, and Universal-owned Hulu, Sony has released a new Crackle iOS app that'll allow you to stream hundreds of TV shows and movies from Columbia Pictures, TriStar Pictures, Screen Gems, and Sony Pictures Classics for free.
That's right. Unlike Hulu Plus, you don't need to sign up and pay a fee to watch videos you can catch elsewhere for free. The new Crackle app, available on iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch, will stream ad-supported content like Seinfeld, Married… With Children and movies like The Da Vinci Code.
